Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. This role focuses on networking and building relationships with insurance agencies throughout our territories in Long Island.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating lasting partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain relationships with insurance agencies to generate new business opportunities.
• Identify and engage potential clients through networking events, cold calling, and industry-related functions.
• Educate insurance agents and adjusters about Servpro’s services, capabilities, and value propositions.
• Conduct presentations and attend meetings with insurance professionals to promote our services.
• Track and report on sales activities and results using CRM software.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow up with insurance agencies to ensure satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and local market conditions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

• New Client Acquisition : Achieve a minimum of X new insurance agency clients per quarter.
• Sales Growth : Increase sales revenue from insurance agency referrals by X% within the first year.
• Client Retention Rate : Maintain a client retention rate of at least X%.
• Networking Events : Attend a minimum of X industry networking events per month.
• Meeting Targets : Schedule and conduct at least X face-to-face meetings with insurance agents and adjusters per month.
• Pipeline Development : Maintain an active pipeline with a minimum of X qualified leads at all times.
• Customer Feedback : Achieve a customer satisfaction score of X% or higher from insurance agencies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably within the insurance or restoration industry.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Long Island.
