Job Title: Field Project Manager

Summary: The position is responsible for meeting customer requirements, through managing the company’s jobs to meet customer’s specifications and expectations, ensure quality workmanship, completed on-time within budget, and ensure the opportunity of repeat business of the account. This individual is the interface between the customer and company employees and subcontractors.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Preconstruction inspection in order to asses the situation and determine possible problems that may prevent meeting customer specifications, discussing the job with Drywall Project Coordinator and Contractor or Property Management Superintendent or equivalent in order to resolve identified issues prior to start of job.
Overall responsibility for on-site Health, Environmental and Safety (HES) issues, ensuring MSDS sheets are on job site, both for Drywall, Contractor, Owner and Other, and ensuring general contractor’s, customer’s and company’s policies and procedures are being followed
Job Scheduling, including employees and subcontractors, and after the job starts procure materials and equipment required for the job, ensuring that the necessary materials, labor and equipment are available to meet customer specifications and keep construction crews working.
Having knowledge of the job and any unique or special requirements and communication of such to employees and subcontractors and company’s place within the overall project
Once in progress, keeping jobs remaining on schedule.
On Site inspection of work in process to ensure adherence to company policies and values.
Inspecting the site for possible problems and communicating appropriately
On-site, work scheduling, in coordination with the overall job objectives and coordinating daily with other on-site trades, subcontractors & customers
Back-up for foreman and leads – help with layouts, etc.
Responsible for lead carpenter training and education
Responsible for final inspection of job, including any minor repairs
Responsible for collecting payroll information for subcontractors and employees from foremen and Lead Carpenters, as well as material delivery tickets and transmitting them to Office Manager
Responsible for tracking changes in scope of work and preparing Variance Change Orders with the assistance of PM
Responsible for preparing, “Requests for Information”- with assistance of PM
