The Role

At Cogent our Warehouse Coordinators are responsible for warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, inventory organization, and warehouse organization as needed.

This is a wonderful opportunity in a growing fast-paced environment.

This position will be responsible for

• Inventory organization and shelf labeling
• Inventory stocking
• Inventory project coordination
• Inventory cycle counting
• Receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording all inbound shipments
• Packing, addressing, and documenting all outbound shipments
• Assist customers by loading and unloading equipment needing repair
• Coordinate all shipments with appropriate shipping vendors
• Maintain relationships with shipping vendors and drivers
• Assisting in general labor to maintain organization and efficiency of the warehouse
• Continuous improvement of delivery, quality, efficiency, and safety within the team

Position Warehouse Coordinator Position Requirements

• Organized with great attention to detail
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse coordination
• Solid basic computer knowledge
• Learns quickly when facing new problems : a relentless desire to learn, open to change, strives for continuous improvement of self and processes
• Solid communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information and ideas
• Responds with a sense of urgency and thrives in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work with varying priorities
• Works well independently or with a team
• Customer-first attitude
• Ability to physically lift heavy items required, up to 70 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; Class E license preferred
• Ability to drive a forklift (or within 30 days of hire) (requirement) training will be provided
