Under general supervision, the Editorial
Specialist/Research provides professional guidance and editorial assistance to
the Community Environmental Health Program (CEHP) investigators in the
development, publication, and promotion of research studies. This position will
oversee the establishment, administration, and budgeting of environmental
research proposals and contracts, edits and reviews manuscripts, and searches
out and interacts with publishers as appropriate. Provides advisement and
training for researchers in the effective development and writing of proposals
and manuscripts, and designs and implements initiatives and activities to
promote research.
