TITLE:  EEG Technician 

LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO (Onsite)

SCHEDULE:  Days - 8am to 430p plus call as scheduled | Weekends Required

PAY:   $30.00 - $50.00 Hour DOE

This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt (Overtime paid at 1.5X regular rate of pay)

SUMMARY:  Performs electroencephalograph (EEG) testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Applies electrodes in accordance with the ACNS guidelines.
• Reviews patient’s history and educates patient about procedure.
• Monitors and documents patient’s condition, responds to, reports, and adverse reactions. Identifies and corrects artifacts.
• Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
• Scores/graphs, analyses, documents and reports results of diagnostic procedures. 
• On call requirement per department policy.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma/GED- Required
• Registered EEG Technologist- Required
• BLS (AHA) - Required
• Associate’s degree- Preferred
• Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient or inpatient preferred. 
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred.
