EEG Technician performs electroencephalograms in accordance with established practices and procedures. Attaches electrodes to the patient. Being an EEG Technician records impulse frequencies and differences in electrical potential between various areas of the brain to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of brain disorders. Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies neurologist of results of examinations. Additionally, EEG Technician consults with neurologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EEG Technician works under moderate supervision. Responsibilities:
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform required maintenance and service.
- Conduct facility maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and carpentry work.
- Fabricate parts using various tools and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff regarding maintenance issues.
- Supervise and train junior maintenance staff when necessary.
- Picking up the grounds daily
- Paint and punch units.
