EHR Project Manager, Sr. is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an EHR Project Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities

    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of healthcare products from concept through development, launch, and phase-out. Ensure products meet market needs and achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals.

    • Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and team members by managing expectations and ensuring alignment with project goals.
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Use insights to inform product strategy and development.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders, including customers, users, and senior executives, to gather requirements, communicate progress, and align product vision.
    • Tackle complex technical and business challenges using a proactive, hands-on approach. Develop innovative solutions that are informed by market dynamics, customer needs, and user feedback.
    • Demonstrate leadership in both tactical execution and strategic planning. Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies to achieve long-term success.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Project Management.
    • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other relevant project management certifications is an advantage.
    • Familiarity with software development methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams.
    • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.
    • Ability to identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

    NOTE

    • Must have stable internet connection minimum of 5 MBPS
    • Must be comfortable working the US business hours (EST)
    • Must own a laptop with at least 8 GB memory
