EHR Project Manager, Sr. is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an EHR Project Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. About This Opportunity
The Senior Project Manager will lead and engage internal and external team members toward the successful execution and completion of the construction project. This position will create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements. The Senior Project Manager will lead project teams by managing all aspects of the assigned projects and displaying exceptional tactical leadership throughout their responsibilities.

As a mid-size manufacturing company, our employees are best supported through direct interaction with their co-workers. As such, this position is an onsite position.
What You Will Do- Coordinates with GFS sales and assigned core team members to create a project that will meet customer expectations. This requires knowledge and utilization of customer specifications and other contract documents.
- Participates in customer and owner coordination meetings.
- Serves as the project liaison to our client, develops and maintains project schedule, and monitors project progress and percent of completion.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Manages the project budget, determines appropriate revenue recognition, and ensures timely and accurate invoicing. Analyzes project profitability, revenue, and margins.
- Engages in contract review and negotiations
- Understands and effectively communicates the business need for each project and make decisions based on what is best for GFS while keeping senior management informed.
- Mentors other project managers and provide individual training on project management tools
- Displays technical proficiency on the basics of HVAC systems including boilers and chillers
- Displays the priority of continuous improvement throughout the department and interdepartmentally with other departments with the intention of exceptional internal/external customer service and improved profitability through GFS.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management or related field
- 7 years of experience in project management or equivalent combination of education and experience
