Kitchen Appliance Installer - West Bloomfield, MI

Big George’s/Witbeck Appliance Install and Delivery department is expanding, and we need experienced installers like you to help us keep up! At Big George's, we take pride in delivering top-notch customer service and providing quality home appliance solutions to our customers. As a Home Appliance Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' appliances are installed safely and efficiently, while delivering an exceptional experience every step of the way.

This perfect candidate will have the craftsmanship needed for delivery and installation in addition to coordinating the routes and installation appointments. We want someone who can wear many hats!

Responsibilities:

• Install a wide range of home appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, and more, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service to customers throughout the installation process. Answer any questions they may have and ensure they are satisfied with their new appliances. Going above and beyond for our customers is priority #1
• Conduct thorough inspections of installation sites to assess the necessary electrical, plumbing, and spatial requirements for appliance installation.
• Ensure that all appliances are properly connected and functioning correctly before completing the installation.
• Delivery with a 26ft box truck copilot manages the route and customer communication.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in appliance installation or a related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to follow instruction manuals and videos for appliance installation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour
