Electric Meter Installer and Repairer tests, adjusts, and repairs electrical meters. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electric Meter Installer and Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electric Meter Installer and Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Neptune Equipment Company, NECO is an installation contractor of water meters and meter reading systems. We are in need of meter installers for a project in Lexington, KY.
Tools and uniforms are supplied.
Candidates must have a basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to work outside in an unsupervised setting. We offer on the job training, including one day of classroom training and multiple days working with an experienced installer.
Each morning your project manager will give you a list of work orders to complete. With each work order, you will perform some very basic plumbing and wiring to upgrade the customers water meter. You will record your work on a tablet using the project work order software.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
