Electric Motor Assembler assembles electric motor components and subassemblies. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electric Motor Assembler may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electric Motor Assembler relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. In this role, the employee is responsible for the preparation of various components for assembly. This is a terrific entry position with an opportunity to learn basics and new skills in an industrial services and large motor repair shop.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Basic assembly work
· Light fabrication
· Machine Operating
· Degreasing
· Measuring
· Perform other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in an industrial environment is highly preferred.
· Must be able to stand while working.
· Must have mechanical interest and good mechanical aptitude.
· Must have basic math skills.
