    Your role at Clorox:


    As a vital member of the plant engineering leadership team, the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls Engineer (EIC) plays a central role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of all plant projects and daily operations. With expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls engineering, they provide essential leadership in designing, implementing, and optimizing these critical aspects of plant infrastructure. From overseeing project development to offering technical support in day-to-day operations, the EIC ensures that electrical, instrumentation, and control systems function effectively, meeting performance standards and safety protocols. Their proactive approach and collaboration within the engineering team contribute to the smooth functioning and success of the plant's operations.


    In this role, you will:


    • Lead EIC engineering efforts through all phases of plant projects – conceptual, feasibility, scope definition, cost estimates, functional requirements, system design, scheduling, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, startup, and validation.
    • Development of manufacturing equipment, processes and procedures essential to line extensions, product improvements and new product development.
    • Interpret and apply industry, regulatory and company specifications and standards to all projects.
    • Implement building & equipment installations and improve manufacturing performance. Work in a participative team based environment, using Global Manufacturing Excellence processes and principles, plan and lead the design and implementation of medium to large sized projects, programs, and manufacturing improvement projects that include the integration of outside technical resources.
    • Support system start-up and operational checkout on systems including configuration, wiring, calibration, and power testing. Provide hardware and software application support assistance to engineers and operations.
    • Provide technical analysis, project cost and schedule estimation, engineering effort forecasting, design recommendations, preparation of design and equipment specifications, design, review of design documents, development of construction sub-contract documents, and lead construction, commissioning, and start-up activities at plant facilities.
    • Develop PMs (Preventative Maintenance) plans on a regular basis


    What we look for:

    • 3 years working as Electrical engineer, maintenance engineer or related areas.
    • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Fanuc robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
    • Working knowledge of NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, NFPA
    • Experience in PLC controls (Allen Bradley, B&R, Siemens), HMI development, electrical power system maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, process manufacturing, standards compliance (ISA-S88, PackML, OMAC), AutoCAD drafting, consumer packaged goods equipment.
    • MES experience is a plus

    –Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900

    –Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400

    –Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900
