    Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer with extensive experience in Siemens PLCs, troubleshooting, and programming. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical control systems, ensuring the efficient operation of our systems and machinery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems using Siemens PLCs and other related technologies.
    • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical control system issues, resolving them in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
    • Develop and maintain PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and other control software to optimize system performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of electrical control systems with mechanical and software components.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
    • Conduct tests and validation processes to ensure the reliability and safety of control systems.
    • Document all engineering designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve systems and processes.
    • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergency support as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical controls engineering
    • Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming (Step 7, TIA Portal, etc.).
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in identifying and resolving electrical control system issues.
    • Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems.
    • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.).
    • Experience with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
