A world-class company who manufactures sheet metal enclosures is seeking a qualified candidate with electrical design and manufacturing experience. Electrical designer shall work in a team environment to develop accurate, constructible, coordinated, drawings, schematics and bill of materials. The electrical designer will also be responsible for answering questions and providing accurate shop drawings that support the production team. The designer will be responsible for interacting with the customers, project managers, coordinators, floor leads, engineering / standards and production directors.
Duties: Create electrical drawings by reviewing sketches, descriptions, specifications, and supporting documents. Prepare supporting information by developing bills of material and standard electrical parts. Comply with legal requirements by adhering to codes and regulations. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications to accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to product or efficiency.
