This Technician job is vital to our organization as it utilizes our technical expertise to provide cost savings to the company and our customers. This position requires a presence in our Lafayette, Indiana office. The majority of the work will be refurbishing equipment that has been returned under warranty and make it available for cross shipments to our customers.
Position Responsibilities Include- Repairing and testing computers, scales, printers, pneumatic cylinders, circuit boards in a timely manner and at a high level of quality
- Creation and maintenance of RMA (return material authorization) documentation
- Working in multi-functional, cross-organizational teams to achieve company goals.
- Testing of prototypes in the lab.
- Working with vendor’s customer support teams to acquire the information needed to repair equipment
- Automotive mechanic
- HVAC technician
- Electrical or computer technician
- General maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience with Technical/Engineering Documentation
