Being an Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Dubak Electrical Maintenance Corp. is continuing to grow and we are looking to add an Electrical Prefab Technician within our Manufacturing Plant in La Grange Park, Illinois.
This individual would be working in the Prefab Shop, which is a controlled environment where workers build vital electrical components for field installations. Among these components are transformer skids with primary and secondary panels, overcurrent protection, feeders, MC cable and cord drops, light fixtures and lighting pendants, trapeze, HVAC racks, temporary power racks, and DuMod trailers (complete setup for switchgear distribution), device prep, underground duct bank preparation, material sorting, and more.
Electrical Prefab staff members must be mechanically inclined, have working knowledge and skills with hand tools used in the electrical trade, be punctual, hardworking, and be able to meet deadlines while performing quality and precision workmanship.
