What You Need To Be Successful
To thrive in the role of Electrician at PDM Distribution, you must possess proven experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems, along with a valid Electrician License in Iowa. A strong grasp of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines is crucial, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment. Your critical thinking skills will be put to the test as you troubleshoot and problem-solve on the job. Carpentry skills are a plus for construction projects, where attention to detail is key.
With excellent physical condition and flexibility to work varying shifts, you'll be ready to tackle any task that comes your way. If you're up for the challenge of prolonged standing, walking, climbing ladders, and maneuvering in tight spaces while lifting up to 50 pounds, then this role is tailor-made for you!
Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are- Proven experience as an electrician
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Carpentry skills for projects being constructed
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work flexible shifts
- Electrician License in Iowa
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
