Being an Electrologist may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrologist relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Required qualifications: Coursework/Training: Electrolysis hair removal certification Or Coursework/Training: Master esthetician and laser hair removal certification Upon hire: Washington Master Esthetician License (for technicians performing laser hair removal, only) Or Upon hire: Specialty Electrolysis training (for technicians performing electrolysis) Preferred qualifications: H.S.
