- Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Initial and Refresher – preferred
- NIMS 100, 700, 200, 800 Training and Refresher
- Deliver and develop training materials
- Maintain training, logs, maintenance, and other records
- Ensure compliance of federal, state, and local standards and regulations
Communication Skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities (and experience)
- Speaking in public, to groups, or via electronic media
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experienced in successful management of diverse groups of people

Basic Requirements:- Valid Louisiana driver’s license
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Firefighter I and II Certification
- Instructor I Certification - required
- Instructor II Certification
- NFPA 1081 – Industrial Fire Brigade Member (Interior or Exterior)
- NFPA 1006 – Rescue Technician (Confined Space & Rope Rescue Technicians)
- NFPA 472 - Hazardous Materials Technician
- Proficiency in Confined Space, High Angle Rope Rescue and Rescue Team Skills at the Advanced Level to the NFPA 1006 Standard
