Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing emergency lighting, siren systems and interior law enforcement equipment. If you have mechanical knowledge and experience working with power tools, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Disassemble vehicles, reassemble vehicles
- Install emergency lighting, siren systems, consoles, prisoner transports, k9 cages
- Install Mobile radio communication systems and GPS tracking equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a variety of vehicles
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
-Your own tools are recommended but tools can be provided if you do not already own any.
Qualifications:
-Strong knowledge of automotive vehicle
-Adept with Electrical theory and Electrical diagnosis.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role in previous employment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to use power tools effectively
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational program is a plus
