RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide regular supervision to MRSS Supervisor and RU Program Manager
Participate in regular team meetings with Clinical Director and Associate Directors
Participate in regular supervision with Clinical Director
Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding and training of new staff
Collaborate with supervisees regarding performance appraisals, quality assurance and program evaluation, development of emergency services programs, and modification as needed.
Provide clinical documentation review of client records (when applicable)
Assist in the development and on-going monitoring of program outcomes, as well as continuous quality improvement initiatives
Assist in the development and review of policies, procedures and standard operating processes
Assist in the development and on-going review/compliance with program budgets
Member of Leadership Team including meeting attendance and participation
Coordinate inter-agency and intra-agency activities with treatment teams/providers including participating in staff meetings and team meetings
o Demonstrates respect for other staff, professionals and disciplines
o Articulation of client needs and advocacy on their behalf
o Negotiate and demonstrate flexibility in discussions with providers across agencies
Promote trauma-informed care by utilizing the core values and tools of Sanctuary with both clients and staff
Participate in Supervisor on-call rotation
Assist in departmental client/guardian concerns, complaints and grievances
Exercise confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines
Provides agency and community trainings including but not limited to: Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), Physical Aggression Avoidance Response Remediation (PAARR), clinical documentation, residential staff development and clinical staff development trainings
Provide intermittent individual, family and group counseling services, and mental health assessments as needed to support client care and programs
Maintain client records with timely documentation, including supervised documentation, in accordance with agency policy
Manage current treatment plans with appropriate reviews
Complete progress notes in a timely fashion and in accordance with agency policy
Engage clients in treatment, exhibiting empathy, sensitivity, cultural competence and respect
Assist in program client/guardian concerns, complaints and grievances
Represent the Children’s Resource Center in a professional and respectful manner across all platforms (i.e. in person, virtual, social media, etc.) including appearance and demeanor
Promote agency mission and values through actions and communications
Promote trauma-informed care by utilizing the core values and tools with others as identified through the agency’s TIC model
Communicate in articulate, organized and grammatically accurate manner, orally and in written communications
Adhere to HIPAA, agency, state, and federal guidelines regarding client confidentiality
QUALIFICATIONS:
Independent Licensure (preferred), by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board (required)
Master’s degree in health and human services field (required)
Exceptional organization, reading and writing skills (required)
Maintain current licensure/certification (when applicable) with identified state boards for the state of Ohio
o Practice within the scope of licensure
Experience working with children, adolescents and families
Experience working in crisis-related settings or comfortability in crisis situations
