Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. As a key leader in our Employee Health Services department, you will have operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of the Employee Health Services department. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
•Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
•Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience.
•Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
•State of FL RN Licensure
Preferred Qualifications:
•Functional knowledge of employee health and occupational health.
•Management experience with demonstrated successful track record.
•Knowledge of patient care practices and/or adult education principles.
•Ability to utilize hospital information systems (order entry, results reporting) and strong analytical skills.
