Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. This position will be located at Midway, in St. Paul.
The primary responsibility of the Employee Occupational Health Nurse Advisor on-call is to independently triage telephone calls from health care workers of Mhealth Fairview regarding Blood and Body fluid exposures and communicapable disease exposures. Utilizes excellent customer service skills and clinical expertise, protocols, and resources to direct or provide appropriate intervention. The schedule may require rotating off premise on call weekdays/weekends.
This position is casual, and will pick up shifts on the evening and/or night shift, as needed by the department.
