He or she will be responsible for managing a range of activities related to employee/labor relations and human resource compliance for the National Capital Division. This position is based in Bethesda, MD, and supports company operations in different states.

- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
- Collaborates in union-related matters and aids in grievance resolution.
- Provides support for employee leave under both the federal and state Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), from the employee’s initial notice of need for leave until return to work.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- A bachelor’s degree (preferred course of study Sociology, Human Resources, Communications).
- Must have experience dealing with sensitive information and can maintain confidentiality.
- Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; prioritize and complete tasks while working under a deadline in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be flexible as this position will require you to work some nights and weekends to meet with employees or hold meetings.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Must have good organizational skills and must be able to multitask.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Bilingual (Proficient in Spanish) preferred, but not required
