One of our clients is seeking a Bilingual Employee Relations Specialist to join their team!
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $85,000 per year, based on your experience. Plus, bonus opportunity. You will work onsite Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Some of your responsibilities as Bilingual Employee Relations Specialist include acting as a consultant for managers on issues related to team member performance, conflict resolution, and problem solving related to the management of team members, as well as:
- Providing support through partnership, guidance, ad coaching
- Following expected documentation techniques and ensuring maintenance of accurate, confidential records regarding all reported matters and fact-finding documentation
- Staying attuned to organizational and operational changes across the company to identify potential employee relations risks and raise awareness with manager
- Maintaining the highest level of integrity and confidentiality when managing employee relations issues and managing reported matters
- Following a fair and objective process appropriate for team member concerns including fact-finding and ensuring adherence to employee relations policies and practices
- Conducting investigations per company process
- Providing guidance and assistance with the development and delivery of appropriate performance feedback or action plans including corrective/disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans
- Representing the company as needed for unemployment claims
- Reviewing and processing religious accommodation requests
- Providing guidance to local leadership on workplace threats and emergencies
- Maintaining high level of integrity and confidentiality
- Performing other duties as assigned
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum one (1) year of experience in HR. You will also be expected to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 years of experience in HR
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to read and interpret policies and safety rules
- Ability to write performance / disciplinary documents
- Ability to make decisions, resolutions that are legal, fair and appropriate
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to resolve conflict
- Ability to effectively coach and train complex processes and procedures
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
