Our psychology office is looking for an office manager with medical billing experience. This position is part-time Monday through Thursday. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding customer service skills. Must be organized and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operations of the office.
- Insurance credentialing and yearly license renewals.
- Posting of ERA's , insurance checks and client payments.
- Posting charges and electronic and/or paper claims filing.
- Follow up on claim denials and disputes.
- Ordering of office supplies.
- Preparation of payroll for bookkeeper.
- Prior authorizations.
- Provide support for front desk.
- Client statements.
- Maintain new hire paperwork
Skills:
- Previous office manager experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Medical software knowledge, MS office, Telephone Etiquette, Excel, Word
- Great interpersonal skills
- CPT/ICD-10 knowledge.
- Prior insurance billing experience required.
- Knowledge of CAQH database helpful.
