EMT/Paramedic Supervisor jobs in Ohio

EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises emergency medical staff consisting of EMTs, paramedics, and drivers. Administers the staff work schedule to ensure adequate coverage. Being an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor coordinates required training and development activities. Maintains activity logs and prepares required reports. Additionally, EMT/Paramedic Supervisor may require registry in NREMT. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a manager. The EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Summary of Position

    Reporting to either the FOH Manager, KM, or GM, the Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for training, and developing servers, hosts, bar tenders to support superior operations and guest service. You will be accountable for meeting budgeted financial goals including but not limited to labor cost, guest satisfaction metrics, and meeting all service standards. Maintaining a perfectly clean, sanitary, and inviting guest environment will be a top priority for the Restaurant Supervisor.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage a positive and fun restaurant culture.
    • Increase sales by ensuring Guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.
    • Perform opening and closing duties as scheduled and directed.
    • Lead, manage, and deliver a friendly Guest Focused experience.
    • Ensure only perfectly prepared and plated food and drink are served to each guest.
    • Execute staffing plan and production plan according to the guidance of the GM/KM.
    • Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and followed.
    • Always ensures responsible selling and service of alcohol as mandated by the respected licensing authorities, Serve Safe Alcohol training, and Boston’s Pizza training guidelines.
    • Maintains appropriate security protocols for guest, employee, and restaurant safety.
    • Accurately account for cash tips, safe counts, till management.
    • Other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    • 1-3 years of progressive management experience in a full-service restaurant with bar.
    • Proven leadership skills and ability to follow-through.
    • Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) and Point of Sale system.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends, and holidays.
    • Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
    • Must possess a strong sense of urgency and command presence management style.
    • Leadership skills – able to direct, coach and supervise a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
    • Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations.
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
    • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
