Elliott Electric Supply in Lenexa is hiring for a dispatch associate. Under direction of the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation of material.
This is a vital position that requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to analyze transportation data.

We currently operate a distribution facility of just over 71,000 sq ft with customer deliveries being sent out multiple times a day in the general KC Metro area using company trucks and drivers.

High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
Must be able to read orders / match orders on shipping tickets to items picked. Basic math skills and reasoning skills. Certification of power-truck equipment.
Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
Physical Requirements : This is a safety sensitive position therefore the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative.
Able to move / lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
