Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dispatch Supervisor to join our team. The Dispatch Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the transportation logistics and ensuring the efficient dispatch of goods.

Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to coordinate transportation activities
- Manage transportation planning and dispatching operations
- Utilize transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management
- Monitor fleet management activities to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records of dispatch activities
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for transportation needs

Requirements:

- Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation management
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and software
- Strong communication skills to interact with drivers and stakeholders effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of fleet management practices and procedures
