Receive and prioritize customer operations designated work orders in a fashion that maximize employee availability and monitor appointment status to ensure customer commitments are being achieved. Through effective application of service dispatch systems and methods, assess type and urgency of service requests and assign to appropriate service technicians. Continually monitor status of service activities and provide coordination and support to service operations and field personnel.
Exercise judgment giving precedence to dispatch of requests and/or scheduled service orders utilizing mobile data terminals, resource manager, customer service system and voice radios. (65%) Coordinate non time sensitive work orders to help fill any potential down time in schedule (15%) Coordinate service work and provide support to other gas and electric operating divisions. Associate's degree in business or a related major or the equivalent related work experience. (Typically three years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess an associate's degree.) Three years of related experience.
