Environmental Compliance Specialist
Mellor Engineering is seeking a full time Environmental Compliance Specialist. This position is located on U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Dugway, Utah. The successful candidate will enjoy working a 4/10 work week: four ten hour days with Fridays off.
Founded in 1993, Mellor Engineering has been delivering an array of advanced engineering, technical support, and construction services to U.S. Government and Industry customers. General Requirements:
The successful candidate must be able to work effectively and efficiently with multiple clients and co-workers. They must be hard-working, self-motivated and have excellent technical and communication skills. Business development and marketing of new work is encouraged. This position requires time management and multitasking skills, the ability to solve complex problems with little to no oversight or outside assistance, and the ability to adapt to and perform in dynamic situations.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, biology, environmental, engineering or other science.
Previous Experience Requirements:
This position requires a general technical background in environmental compliance particularly Clean Air Act (CAA), RCRA, and State of Utah specific regulations. Knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and general environmental consulting is also desired. A minimum of seven (5) years of direct experience is required.

Located in Utah’s remote West Desert Dugway Proving Ground operates under a four day work week (10 working hours per day) providing a consistent three (3) day weekend for employees.
