Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Summary/Objective:
This position provides supervision for the Environmental Services Department, ensuring quality results. The Environmental Services Supervisor will direct and assist the Environmental Services Director in managing the department staff, meeting with residents and staff. He or she will actively participate in the onsite facility’s goals and objectives. Understands the Forefront Healthcare contract and obligations within the agreement.

Physical Demands:
The Environmental Services Supervisor stands and walks intermittently throughout the working day, as well as reaches, stoops, bends, lifts, and carries supplies and equipment. The EVS Supervisor must have the ability to work with chemicals/cleaning agents and must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds (50lbs).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an hourly position, with expected hours to include: days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Previous 1-3 years’ experience in Healthcare or Long-Term Care Management is recommended, but not required.
