T&E Power Systems and N C Power Systems carry the complete line of Caterpillar® engine and power systems products covering a vast territory that includes central and western Washington, central and eastern Montana, northwestern Wyoming, northwestern North Dakota and the state of Alaska. We are the Pacific Northwest’s Caterpillar Dealer in delivering prime and standby electric power, marine, oil and gas, and industrial/OEM installations.

Our opening for an Area Sales Manager will be a member of our leadership team at T&E Power Systems located at our Williston, North Dakota branch. This position will lead a group of employees to include but not limited to the following:

Rental and Sales Management

• Effectively lead our T&E Power Systems Rental, Sales, and Service teams at our Williston, North Dakota branch.
• Oversee T&E Power Systems territory for revenue growth, P&L, customer satisfaction and personnel responsibilities.
• Formulate business plans, programs, manage budgets for assigned region.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities. Manage potential product challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
• Manage the business operations and area performance in alignment with Company objectives through continuous evaluation of statistical reports. Effectively lead a team of Sales Representatives and support staff at our Williston branch to ensure success.

Personal Attributes, Experience, and Education:

• Minimum of five years’ experience is preferred or the equivalent of undergraduate school in business administration preferred and 5 years’ experience in sales accomplishments. Experience at Caterpillar, Cummins or MTU is a plus.
• Required to travel up to 15% a year to locations that include Williston, North Dakota and Seattle, Washington.
• Position requires keen presentation skills with the ability to articulate data analysis to a diverse audience. Ability to work on Microsoft Office products essential.
• Represent the company with a high degree of professionalism while practicing the Company Values.
