They are currently seeking a seasoned professional to join their team as a Director of Estate Planning Tax Services. In this pivotal role, you will engage in a multifaceted approach towards estate and gift tax strategies, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals in providing expert advice and strategic planning services to a diverse clientele.

Focus:

• Engage collaboratively with clients and attorneys, crafting meticulous and strategic estate and gift tax strategies.
• Ensure accurate and compliant preparation and review of complex estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns.
• Conduct thorough tax research, identifying potential tax-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
• Advise clients on tax implications related to wealth transfer and succession planning, ensuring strategies are grounded in the latest laws and regulations.
• Maintain robust client relationships, ensuring clear communication of complex tax concepts and strategies.
• Navigate through intricate financial information, evaluating and optimizing clients’ financial positions and strategies in light of current tax laws.
• Work in tandem with various legal and financial teams, providing expert tax advice and ensuring a coordinated approach to client service.

Skill Set

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation required.
• 5 years of experience in estate and gift tax planning, preferably within a legal or CPA firm setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax laws and regulations.
• Proven experience with 706, 709, and 1041 tax preparation.
• Competency in utilizing tax research software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and navigate through potential tax issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance in all undertakings.
• Superb communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with clients and team members alike.
