Executive Response Specialist jobs in Washington

Executive Response Specialist provides timely resolutions to customer complaints that have escalated to the highest level within the organization. Coordinates with product/service suppliers and/or contact center staff to research and determine validity of complaints and evaluate options to remedy these complaints. Being an Executive Response Specialist reviews the underlying facts of the complaint, determines an appropriate solution, and delivers the response to the customer. Requires a thorough knowledge of the products/services offered, well developed customer service skills, and clear understanding of the company's policy regarding complaints. Additionally, Executive Response Specialist exercises a large degree individual discretion and judgement. Tracks complaints and makes recommendations to management designed to reduce the number of complaints. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Executive Response Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     HF Sinclair Puget Sound Refining, located in Anacortes, Washington is seeking a Safety/Emergency Response Specialist. The Safety/Emergency Response Specialist is responsible for driving the Organization's Safety and Emergency Response culture, knowledge, compliance and assurance through knowledge of the work processes and implementation of the job duties below.

    Job Duties
    • Serves as technical resource to supported departmentsregarding the Life Saving Principles, Plant Standing Instructions, Policies, Procedures, and Practices.
    • Collaborates with Planners within supported departments to plan work in alignment with plant and regulatory requirements.
    • Works with Learning and Development to conduct effective training ofsupported departments.
    • Functions as Contract HSSE Lead for applicable contract and ensures direct orientation and onboarding is executed for contractors within supported departments.
    • Promotes safety awareness and compliance for supported departments.
    • Reviews and approves Job Hazard Analyses.
    • Represents the Health and Safety organization on accident/incident investigations.
    • Conducts MOC reviews for supported departments.
    • Assists Team Leaders of supported departments with input incidents into Enablon for Incident reporting/tracking. These incidents include unsafe conditions, near misses, illnesses, and injuries. Ensures transparent and accurate reporting.
    • Performs safety review of Refinery Procedures for compliance with rules, standards, and policies.
    • Leads the assurance process for safety related Standing Instructions and Work Processes within supported departments.
    • Collaborates with the USW Safety Representatives to address relevant Safety Concerns and communicate status to the relevant parties.
    • Builds knowledge of applicable regulations including but not limited to OSHA 1904 and 1910 and the Washington Administrative Code - Title 296 Department of Labor and Industries. Ensures area of responsibility is in regulatory compliance and leads or assists if gap closers are necessary.
    • Develops Front Line Leaders into Safety Leaders.

    Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.

    Experience

    Aminimum of 10 years' experience in Plant Production, Maintenance Turnaround, Projects, Safety, or associated Technical Field.

    Education Level

    A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

    PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

    Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, and/or Emergency Response related field.

    Specialized Emergency Response Training (i.e. Hazmat Technician (NFPA 472), Industrial Exterior Fire Brigade Training (NFPA 1081))

    Professional Certification: ASP/CSP, CIH

    Required Skills
    • The Safety/ER Specialist must demonstrate the following skills: Collaborative behaviors, self-motivation, interpersonal, and open communication skills. Positive attitude and willingness to support the Health, Safety, and Emergency Response team. Demonstrate calmness and courage in emergency events. Knowledge of Life Saving Rules, HollyFrontier Group HSSE, Social Performance (SP), Control Framework, AMS, Code of Conduct, and Plant Standing Instructions with demonstrated ability to intervene as needed with this knowledge. Have regulatory knowledge of Safety and ER along with knowledge of policies, procedures, and practices. This position is expected to demonstrate a high level of honesty, integrity and follow the chain of command in the performance of their duties.
    • Safety/ER Specialists are expected to understand and comply with all requirements for ensuring their own safety and to be a role model for employees. This includes intervention when required with anyone at any level in the organization. They must help drive a culture of continuous improvement in personal safety and emergency response. Additionally, they are expected to ensure that safety requirements are clearly understood and followed throughout the organization.
    Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

    May direct or lead the work of others from time-to-time.

    Work Conditions

    Office based, field based and, with travel up to 30% of the time by land or air is required. Petroleum refinery, and out-of-door environments, including, but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks and rotating equipment, fumes or airborne particles and loud noises and vibrations. Required to work in all temperatures including outdoors and confined spaces. Subject to varying road and weather conditions.

    Physical Requirements

    Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand & finger movements, reaching and grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs., pushing and/or pulling up to 15 lbs. and climbing up to 50 ft., ability to wear personal protective equipment and strenuous physical activity.
