Responsibilities:

• • Develops individual exercise programs, leads exercise sessions and administers assessments. 
  • Case manager for assigned patients. 
  • Provides health education in cardiovascular disease risk factor reduction and life-style mgmt.Requirements:

• Requires MA/MS degree in physical education/exercise physiology. 
•  Completed internship of at least 400 hours in cardiac rehab and ECG interpretation skills required. Exp. in clinical research in fitness/cardiac rehab preferred.  6 mos. of exercise testing/leadership in cardiac rehab req'd.
•   BLS and ACLS required.
• ACSM certified exercise test technologist or equivalent exp.  Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
