Role Summary
The Assembly Coordinator leads exhibit mock-ups; check-in’s; building and equipment maintenance; and provides installation and dismantle services. Warehouse duties include preparing orders for shipment and checking in returning orders. Our Exhibit Assembly Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations (DO). The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, be able to operate warehouse equipment, have a strong service mentality, be detail oriented, and align with our core values: Responsive, Hard-working, Integrity, Teamwork, and Positivity.
Job Duties
Oversee and Execute Exhibit Mock-ups:
- Leadership in execution of exhibit mock-ups based on timelines established by Director of Operations.
- Demonstrate leadership by setting a positive example in work product as well as efficiency
- Unpack display cases and follow CADs and/or display instructions to build various exhibits
- Ensure damage and/or fit and finish issues are accurately recorded and reported
- Re-pack the exhibit to assure it will ship safely with no damage
Show-Site Installation & Dismantle (I&D) Services: (limited)
- Travel to show site to supervise and/or support the I&D
- Work with clients, I&D contractors, and union labor to execute the I&D
- Provide much of the same support outlined above in “Exhibit Mock-up”
Inventory Management
- Mastery of inventory management systems, including Excel, Almyta and ExhibitForce.
- Support Director of Operations as a secondary resource to create part numbers in ExhibitForce and Almyta in compliance with OnePoint naming procedure; photographing each item and modifying for use in ExhibitForce and Almyta.
- Check items in and out of systems per OnePoint procedures. Document damage, missing items, or other issues as noted by Exhibit Assembly Coordinator.
Outgoing & Returning Orders
- Complete pull according to OnePoint procedures
- Ensure all pieces are properly packed and labeled
- Load order onto shipping trucks
- Unload delivery trucks
- Check items per OnePoint procedures. Document damage, missing items, or other issues.
- Repack exhibit and return to storage locations
Other Duties:
- Support the Director of Operations in warehouse projects
- Ensure equipment is clean, maintained, and ready for use
- Immediately report all accidents and/or equipment damage
- Special projects as requested by OnePoint Director of Operations
Skills Required:
- Building / Mechanical Aptitude – Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to interpret CAD drawings, build exhibits, and make repairs with minimal training and oversight.
- Equipment – Must be able to safely operate warehouse & shop equipment (forklift, pallet jack, scissors lift, tools,..)
- Lifting – Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong Service Mentality – Must have good customer service skills, care about our team and clients, and be eager and willing to do what needs to be done to ensure our/their success.
- Technology Aptitude – Must be able to use communication and asset management software like Goldmine, Slack, ExhibitForce, and Alymyta. (Training will be provided)
- Detail-oriented – Must be able to accurately record details into our asset-management programs, identify flaws/potential problems during mock-ups, and notice/address issues when assets are checked-in post-show.
- Sense of Urgency – Must work with a sense of urgency and be able to balance the need to move quickly with the need to work carefully.
- Problem-solving – Must be able to anticipate and identify problems and come up with solutions.
- Flexibility – Must be able to shift work effort with changing priorities as directed.
- Communications – Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Previous work experience in a skilled trade, building, or asset management/warehouse service role
- A trade school certificate and/or two year college degree is preferred
Work Schedule
- This is a full time, salaried position
- 40 hours per week, worked Mondays through Thursdays from 7am-5pm
