Facilities Engineer plans and implements the design of plants, offices, and production lines in order to maximize the use of available space and improve production efficiency. Estimates costs related to layout design, including equipment and materials, labor, etc. and monitors the construction process. Being a Facilities Engineer researches production/processing equipment or fixtures for purchase and gathers data relating to their ability to meet organizational needs. Ensures that established efficiency and safety targets are met. Additionally, Facilities Engineer typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK and reports to the Manager – Facilities Engineering.The Sr. Facilities Engineer is responsible for multi-well surface facility engineering designs, project management & execution, and providing support to field production operations.Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish facility processing design basis including oil/gas/water PVTs and takeaway capacities
- Establish and maintain engineering standards, engineering designs, process models, and equipment specifications
- Project execution – cost, quality, schedule
- Facility engineering and construction packages
- Manage material and equipment supply chain risks through vendor selection, forecasting and delivery schedules
- Create cost estimates for AFEs and budgeting
- Analyze and present technical analysis on execution and cost performance
- Evaluate and implement new technologies
- Provide support to field production teams to troubleshoot and improve efficiencies and lower cost structure
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Ability to work directly with varying levels of personnel including field operations and management
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Well versed in multi-well pad surface facilities development
- Project management
- Complete complex assignments autonomously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ProMax and CAD
- Good working knowledge of ASME Section VIII, B.31.3, GPSA and API practices
Education & Work Experience RequiredMinimum Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of facilities engineering experience
Preferred:- Appalachian Basin experience
- Midstream and natural gas compression experience
