Facilities Manager manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Manager monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Manager trains supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Facilities Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities:
    1. Mentor and develop production personnel.
    2. Ensure production personnel receive appropriate technological, production, and customer service training.
    3. Resolve customer issues.
    4. Conduct weekly 10 minutes flash meeting – training, safety, and issues.
    5. Perform site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and job site quality.
    6. Resolve documentation related issues identified by the administrative team.
    7. Improve overall documentation and communication within the department.
    8. Perform site visits for estimate requests.
    9. Build a Team philosophy and work with other departments to strengthen the overall Team.
    10. Lead daily WIP meetings.
    11. Manage and develop people reporting to you.
    12. Perform annual and semiannual review of direct reports.
    13. Perform site visits to ensure company standards are met and ensure customer satisfaction.

    Requirements
    • 3-5 years managing a team of up to 3 direct reports.
    • Leadership skills as evidenced by work experience or extracurricular activities.
    • Effective written and oral communication.
    • Problem solving and solution based thinking.
    • Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
    • High school diploma/GED.
    • IICRC certifications preferred.
    • Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
    • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
    Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: This position involves application of cleaning solutions and exposure to moderate noise levels when operating specific equipment.
