Facilities Planner jobs in Pennsylvania
Facilities Planner plans building or refurbishment projects focused on effectively utilizing spaces and resources to support the organization's physical facility and space needs. Conducts evaluations of current facilities to assess short-term and long-term space needs and produce feasibility studies. Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Under the direction of the Director of Design Facilites, this position provides planning and programming services for renovation and construction projects as assigned by the Director of Planning and Design, assists in the development and maintenance of databases for space utilization, furniture and equipment plans, as-built floor plans, scheduling, and tracking all other information required for successful project completion as specified by MLHS policies, procedures, and directives. This position is also responsible to assist as a team member in the administration and execution of capital construction projects.

Experience:
A minimum of five to seven years experience in design, planning, evaluation and architectural programming related to institutional and/or health care buildings and systems
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Architecture, or similar background
