FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems. Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management. Being a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR tracks work orders and ensures work follows established service and quality standards for completion. Schedules and supervises preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects. Additionally, FACILITIES SUPERVISOR maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws. May coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Title: Maintenance Helper
Job Summary:
The maintenance helper will complete required preventive maintenance and repairs as directed by the site manager/lead and/or designee. The maintenance helper may be assigned to and given direction by a more senior level technician as the helper. 1st and 2nd shift availableEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair/replace equipment/building and grounds, including but not limited to, touch up and repair painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting and landscape.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment/building and grounds according to a set schedule with written instructions, includes documenting performance characteristics of facility buildings/systems and/or equipment.
- Complete any other tasks identified by Site manager/lead.
Qualifications:- High School Diploma, G.E.D or Equivalent
- At least one year mechanical experience, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Mechanical experience including, but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC or carpentry.
