FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems. Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management. Being a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR tracks work orders and ensures work follows established service and quality standards for completion. Schedules and supervises preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects. Additionally, FACILITIES SUPERVISOR maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws. May coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that City facilities and building systems are
properly maintained and operational. Organizes, monitors, and supervises
facility maintenance operations; performs a variety of technical tasks including
but not limited to carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Fleet & Facilities
Superintendent, and supervises one full-time and three part-time employees.
This position is designated as safety sensitive and is
subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

$20.67 - $25.84 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
