Fashion Designer is responsible for executing the fashion design strategy for an organization. Creates and manages multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product and ensures projects are aligned with the brand's identity. Being a Fashion Designer presents design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. Effectively communicates design details to the product development and production teams. Additionally, Fashion Designer determines final style, material, and color based on input from sales/marketing, merchandising, development, and manufacturing teams. Ensures fashion designs meet high-quality standards and adhere to approved guidelines. Keeps abreast of consumer needs and trends. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in apparel/fashion design or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Fashion Designer work is closely managed. Shoot Details- An opportunity is available for a professional photographer to produce a fashion products demonstration photoshoot for The LA Fashion Magazine (LAFM).
- The shoot will be held indoors in a studio chosen by the photographer.
- The project involves photographing 6 female mannequins styled by a wardrobe stylist and prepped by a Lay Figure artist for makeup and outfit fitting.
- The Mannequin artist will provide the mannequins to be used in the shoot.
- Capture high-quality digital images that replicate the provided examples.
- Plan and light each shot effectively.
- Deliver 20-30 images suitable for website, social media, and mobile platforms.
- Manage and coordinate the entire photoshoot.
- Deadline for image delivery is December 6th, 2021.
- Proficiency in using digital cameras, Profoto Lighting, Photoshop, Bridge, Capture One, etc.
- Ability to collaborate successfully with diverse personalities.
- Education: Post High School (preferred).
- Experience: 1 year in Fashion Photography (preferred).
- Location and date of the shoot are flexible.
- Estimated duration: 4-6 hours.
- Budget: $6500 with a photographer fee of $3000.
- Remote work: Yes.
- COVID-19 Precautions: Strict safety measures will be followed, limiting on-set personnel to a maximum of 3 individuals.
