A fast paced small restaurant in Middletown, CT is seeking an experienced fast food crew member, and to work as part of a team with the other cooks and kitchen staff.

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a FAST-PACED environment, multitask, be team-oriented and be able to maintain the highest level of food quality, safety, and kitchen cleanliness.

Job Duties:

• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Accommodate special dietary requests and modifications while maintaining the integrity of the dish.
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
• Contribute ideas for new sandwich variations and menu enhancements, demonstrating creativity and a keen understanding of flavor profiles.

Experience:

• at least 1 year of previous experience as a fast food crew member or a fast paced restaurant setting is preferred.
• Food Handler's certificate is a plus
