Finance Director directs an organization's financial policies, planning, reporting and controls. Oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, risk, tax, and treasury. Being a Finance Director generally is the second most senior finance executive. Requires a master's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent. Additionally, Finance Director may require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Typically reports to chief financial officer (CFO). The Finance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The Role
This position will be an integral part of the senior leadership team and will be working closely with the CFO and CEO. You will be responsible for building and leading impactful FP&A and accounting teams; driving insight through analysis into a nationwide portfolio comprised of utility-scale wind and solar projects.
