Waldorf University Financial Aid Office is seeking candidates for a Financial Aid Counselor to work primarily with our online students. This is a full-time position located on-site at the Forest City campus.
The primary function of this position is to assist our online students while they move through the Financial Aid processing and to provide support with in the Financial Aid Office as needed. Ideal candidates must have a desire to provide friendly, helpful customer service, be conscientious with strong attention to detail. Position will require regular and timely electronic and verbal communication to students and/or parents. Financial Aid Counselors report to the Associate Director of Financial Aid - Online. At times will assist or provide back up in other areas of the Financial Aid Office.
Requirements- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for student/family interactions and documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office Software programs, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to adapt to online software and database programs
