Financial Analyst - Grant Management will maintain data integrity across various systems, build comprehensive reports, and work closely with our management team to align data reporting with our mission and fiscal goals. As a key player in our grant writing and management efforts, you will research, develop proposals, and handle all correspondence related to grant requests from diverse funding sources.
Financial Analyst Grant Management
Responsibilities: This is a role is focused on the specialized nature within Federally Qualified Health Centers and the dual responsibilities in finance and grant writing.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, projections, and analyses to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor and manage grant funding, ensuring compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop budgets and Grant financial strategies.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities, and assist in the grant application process.
- Maintain financial records and documentation for grants and other funding sources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Healthcare background
- Proven experience of 5 years plus, in financial analysis, budgeting, and grant management.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- FQHC or other grant writing experience
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite or SQL
- Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of FQHC healthcare finance is a plus.
- CPA or CMA certification is an advantage.
