Description
SAIC is seeking a cyber-inclined Fire Control Systems Engineer to work at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center with the government customer in Newport, RI.
Responsibilities- The candidate will work with the combat systems team during the various phases of development, test and evaluation, installation, and fleet training.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s and zero (0) years or more experience; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Must have experience working on a Ballistic Missile Submarine (SSBN).
- Navy Firecontrol Technician (FT) experience.
- Secret clearance required.
- Enlisted Navy experience.
- Systems engineering or cybersecurity experience.
- Navy Combat Systems experience.
- Ability to obtain 8570 Level II Certified (CompTIA Security , or equivalent certification) within 60 days of hire.
Covid Policy SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site. - The candidate will work with the combat systems team during the various phases of development, test and evaluation, installation, and fleet training.
