Oversees and trains staff members, manages the day-to-day operations of the business, and maintains the facility and equipment. Being a Fitness Center Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Fitness Center Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. SCHEDULE: Work approximately 8-15 hours a week:
Monday and Tuesday opening shift (6am-1pm during summer hours, till 2pm during winter hours)
Friday and Saturday opening shift (6am-1pm on Friday and 7am-1-pm on Saturday)
