Fitness Instructor coordinates all fitness programs for a facility. Organizes and instructs exercise classes for all fitness levels. Being a Fitness Instructor ensures that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment. Responsible for making sure that the exercise area and equipment are safe and clean. Additionally, Fitness Instructor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Fitness Instructor typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. EōS Fitness is seeking motivated, high energy Group Fitness Instructor to lead members, in a group environment, through a format of exercises designed to enhance overall fitness, strength and endurance while ensuring the safety of the members. Programs include: Indoor Cycling, Zumba, Yoga, Step, Aqua Fitness, (Freedom) Barre, BANG Dance, Les Mills and much more! The Group Fitness Instructor will create a motivational and fun environment for all participants while teaching correct form and routine to accommodate all fitness levels through clear verbal instruction.
The successful candidate must be capable of answering questions and concerns of participants, solicit feedback about the class, be dependable and consistent in class schedule starting and ending times, maintain a positive and professional attitude towards members, while promoting the gym and Group Fitness classes.
